The accommodation is accessible via an asphalt road, with the last 400 meters being a gravel driveway. You can park your car on the premises. It’s a small-scale accommodation featuring an olive grove and a spacious garden of more than 1 hectare, offering stunning panoramic views. There are various seating areas for either private or shared use. Starting from the summer, an outdoor shower and a hot tub will be available. There are 3 B&B rooms with a shared bathroom (including a toilet and bidet). Each B&B room is equipped with a refrigerator and coffee and tea facilities. Breakfast is included and can be enjoyed either indoors or outdoors, according to your preference. Additionally, there is a shared fully equipped kitchen available for our guests.

Travelling to B&B La Vera Vita

The distance from Utrecht to our B&B is 1495 km. By car, you can travel through Germany or Belgium (Liège) – France – Switzerland to Italy. We usually stay overnight in Mulhouse (about an 8-hour drive) before continuing our journey to our house in Italy. Of course, there are multiple options, and you can also make it a road trip by taking several stops along the way. Check the ANWB website for current information and travel tips.


Various airlines fly to one of the following destinations: Ancona (39km), Perugia (113km), Pescara (171km), Bologna (244 km), or Rome (275 km). You can also combine this with a fun city trip.

Ryanair flies directly from April/June until September from Düsseldorf Weeze Airport (just across the border from Nijmegen) and from Brussels Charleroi Airport starting mid-March to destinations including Ancona, Bologna, Perugia, Pescara, and Rome. From Ancona, it’s a 40-minute drive and from Pescara 2.25 hours to B&B La Vera Vita. From the Netherlands, you can fly from Amsterdam and Eindhoven to both Rome and Bologna. These airports are respectively 3.5 and 2.75 hours’ drive from us.

From April to October, you can travel with Transavia from Eindhoven Airport to destinations such as Bologna, Perugia, and Rome. Perugia is 1.40 hours from us and is also easily accessible by train. From Rotterdam Airport, you can fly directly to Perugia and Rome.

KLM flies from Amsterdam Airport to the airports of, among others, Florence (3.25 hours from us) and Rome.

Lufthansa also flies from Amsterdam Airport to Bologna, and Rome, as well as to Ancona with a stopover in Munich.

With you can fly from Amsterdam to destinations such as Bologna and Florence.
